The Eastside of Anderson has been a very depressed area for several years now. Although, the City has experienced growth and major improvements Downtown and on the West and Northside, the Eastside has been forgotten about. DJ Donnelly Enterprises LLC has offered free time and assistance in getting the area improved. All of the dilapidated Commerical Buildings on Whitner St, which have been abandoned for many years, are a in need of a major improvement. Formed on May 13, 2011, The Eastside Anderson Redevelopment Group's President, DJ Donnelly along with Head of Communications Valerie Donnelly have spear headed a movement to improve the area. While working with City Officials, State Congress Officials and The Government, to get the area redeveloped...
With a proposed $6.2 Million Dollar Eastside Recreation Center and Field now in the final master plan stages, now 20 years away, The Eastside Anderson Redevelopment Group is poised to work with the City as to offer assistance to redevelop the area with our Investment Relations Associates, to create a better Eastside of Anderson, while the City offers Incentives to the Investors to redevelop the dilapidated properties....The mission is to improve the Eastside of Anderson, as to create jobs, tax revenues, recreation and more... Once The City of Anderson, cleans up those dilapidated buildings on Whitner St, has the buildings improved and The Economic Development of Anderson, produces an Eastside Investment Package, our Group will proceed.
